Karim Khan's brother is the former Conservative British MP and convicted sex offender Imran Ahmad Khan. He may soon have to defend Prince Andrew. Karim Khan has proven often enough that he reacted in a biased manner. I am referring specifically to his handling of the witness protection program at the ICTY. To expect him to enforce equal rights for all is really not realistic.
As for charging under the jurisidiction of the ICC, let us find the way to charge the Biden Administration under domestic US law that incorporated the Genocide convention, 18 U.S. Code § 1091. Let them know that even if it isn't going to happen when they are still in office, this law is waiting for them when they leave.
There must be a permanent ceasefire in Gaza in order to comply with the ICJ ruling. Not with Palestinians suffering under oppressive conditions, but as a place where all live with peace and equality. It is time for Pope Francis to do more than talk. He must go to Gaza and make a stand for peace and freedom.
Let us also support UNRWA. If our governments won’t act in accordance with humanity, then we will. https://www.unrwausa.org/donate Let us do it to honor Aaron Bushnell, or in memory of Hind Rajab.
These are a few small things we can do. If we can do more, let us do more.
It seems to be both, the ICC and humanitarian/international law, the so called "collateral damage" done by the sinking genocidal empire... disgusting and infuriating.
Great analysis of ICC and ICJ, and how both institutions are descending the slope of becoming mere biased tools in the hands of Western countries' interests.
The only possible response to ICC lies and lawfare is exactly what the US did: The "Hague Invasion Act", the law the US passed that authorized military action against the ICC - up to and including a military invasion of the Hague to seize ICC personnel - should the ICC ever dare to investigate or charge American military personnel.
Russia should charge ICC personnel as aiding and abetting terrorism, which is what they are doing by supporting the nazi Kiev regime's killing of children and forced relocations of children away from zones that might be liberated by Russia. And then follow through on that using US precedent to kill them in drone strikes. The US has used drone strikes to kill over 30,000 people in dozens of countries, justifying those strikes saying the US had reason to believe their targets were engaged in terrorism. Russia could add a few dozen ICC prosecutors and staffers to that list.

Iits breathtaking how every western dominated institution is turning into the exact opposite of what it is meant to be.
But what the most striking aspect of this development is its transparency. If you want to know about how Worldbank / IMF influenced Jamaica or Haitis domestic food production, or names of german neo-nazis fighting in Ukraine, or the result of a blood-test of a russian dissident, etc. , its only a few clicks away.
Information has never been available in such a consumable form yet it reflects less and less back into reality.

This is how my east german / dissident / green-party originals / family members described the end of the DDR.
But reminded of that and compared with NOW, they absolutely disagree. We had bitter arguments about it. „Schematisches Denken“ and „transparente Lügen“ only existed back than not now.
