Yesterday, Al Qassam fighters ambushed what was likely an IDF command meeting or maybe a cluster-f**k, killing 10, mostly officers including a brigade commander. I've seen videos Qassam has posted of IDF soldiers loitering about in ruined Gaza streets seemingly unconcerned about their safety in an urban combat zone, while they're about to be targeted. Seemingly commanders are just as clueless. No wonder they don't want to attack the tunnels. They already have 2,000 wounded per an Israeli source. So the maniacal plan Tarik describes so eloquently has more than one purpose it appears.
Searing analysis, well deserved.
