I'm not sure that "Europe's leaders don' think" is necessarily true. Europe's leaders have never done anything on behalf of their people. Its rulers, leaders, elites whatever have always operated with other Europeans at that elite level: either fighting them or co-operating with them to amass wealth and power. It's just the way the West works and has always worked.

When dealing with their people the main aim is to create a way of ensuring order and using their labour but minimising how much wealth needs to be shared. Power is never shared. All that performative democracy is just a pretence at power being shared. It fools most people most of the time ....... until it doesn't.

Good article. Thank you Tarik. I'd never thought about who would be flying the planes to deliver the US nukes. That was a bit dim of me!

The politicians in power are groomed by the USA to start with (operation mockingbird, NGO funding by the NED). Same elites behind the wheel

It has been very difficult to wrap my head around the fact that Brussels and including the political "leaders" of most European countries will obviously work against the interests of their own people. The only thing that begins to make sense is when I look at the US debt. I very rarely see any economist, especially the big shots like Jeffrey Sachs and other Ivy League academics ever talk about that debt. One thing I know for sure, even though at least once in every administration they announce some type of infrastructure Bill for a few trillion. Nothing ever gets spent on US infrastructure. Our electric grid cannot handle data centers our highways and water systems are crumbling.

I say all that to say the US bribes political leaders around the world. You can be Prime minister of Estonia which might have a million people and suddenly the PM and her entire family are all multimillionaires. I think the same can be said around the globe 40 trillion dollars in bribes to political elites goes a long, long way and it is going to bring about the end of this civilization sooner rather than later

If I were Europe, I’d strengthen economic, political and cultural ties with China and decouple from the toxic relationship with America. Problem is that Europe is just a weaker version of America and is ideologically intertwined with America. That, and the fact that European politicians and elite are totally corrupt and actively serve themselves rather than the public good.
