Humanity will persist, its components will continue to adhere to the human values that define the species as witnessed by the voices & actions of the global supporters for the Palestinian victims of the Western driven genocide.

It is the inhuman west that cannot continue, it is an abomination & not part of the human specie.

It's challenging, but Dr. Amar does it, to find new ways to express the reactions of a human with empathy and a conscience to the burgeoning Israeli crimes which are frequently publicized by the IDF soldiers themselves. Rather than hiding them, they flaunt their depredations as fun group activities to be enjoyed vicariously by the Israeli public on social media, who from all reports lap up this sadism as a nurturing experience. But what is being nurtured is beyond description, unspeakable. It just has to be stopped by some power, somehow.

Excellent article. Thank you. The dehumanization of the Palestinians, was developed by the Zionists, and the British. After the Ottoman Empire, the Brits mandated Palestine into a buffer state. Separate from the other states, this alienated Palestinian-Arabs from other Arabs . At the same time it made Palestine a hostile territory to its Arabs neighbors, and Arab nations distant from Palestinians. With the region divided the Brits intentions were assured and Zionist Jews could colonize. Also, to this day, the whole region has been weakened,. This was the first tragedy. Second, by separating the Palestinians from their Arab neighbors, this made it convenient for the British and Western supported Zionists to destroy them. Here we are today, with 22 Arab nations, so far, doing very little to help the Palestinians. The Zionists are winning as the support from the West, the US, the Jewish Lobby, gaslights the world population cleverly animating that the Palestinians are the enemy . . . It is incredulous that most people I talk to have bought the propaganda and just as they are expected, either ignore the genocide, or side with the Israelis. . . Heart breaking.

Thanks that you publish again this article, because it gives context to understand better the underlined "theory" to "justify" (how????) the abject massacre we are trying to stop.

I think than in parallel and in synchrony, they show to the world, specially the neighborg countrys, of what they are capable and happy to do: terror, the favorite tool in their box of horrors.

All this is a clear sign of their absolut incompetence as human beings to have empathy with others and live in peace, even with themselfs: they are hunted by their own emptyness. The wild twisted decadent and murderous west and their colony.

In conversations with Israeli-American (holding dual citizenship) friends and acquaintances over two decades, it was politely but openly discussed that the Palestinians were engaged in demographic warfare against Israel. Hence Israel could never allow all resident Palestinians full rights under law. Doing so would be the end of Israel as a Jewish state. Why? Because under democratic governance or some form thereof, the non-Palestinian peoples would be a minority. Simple math. All this -- the conversation and related talking points -- was no conspiracy. All this was discussed as common knowledge, as an ongoing dilemma. The Economist article you cite continues in that general tradition. The seemingly real question: what to do about this demographic warfare? Likud has one answer now being implemented, but decades old in terms of intellectual rationalization and justification.
