Germany’s political, cultural, and media elites have failed horribly, again. And I am writing this – full disclosure – as a German. The country I come from, where I went to school and did military service, is a place to be ashamed of once more. As many observers, such as Mathew Rose and Ali Abunimah and this author, too, have long noted, the men and women who lead this – historically only recently re-united – Germany and those who set the tone in its society, have sided virtually unanimously and unconditionally with the fascist-Zionist apartheid regime while the latter is committing a genocide in Gaza.
