First of all, thank you for your interest in my work and for your support as well.
As some of you may have noticed, I have made some changes to my Substack, and I would like to quickly summarize them here, just as a matter of transparency.
Much content will remain free for all subscribers, just as before. I anticipate releasing 4 to 6 free texts per month and adding free podcasts soon.
At the same time, there will be additional content behind a paywall: I have introduced a new category of frequent and quick commentary that I call “The Skirmish.” For now, The Skirmish will consist exclusively of essays, but I am going to add podcasts to this format, too.
I have not yet figured out how to do this, but I am planning to add another layer of additional access for founder members.
In case you’d like to have a look, I have moved (as a matter of BDS) and slightly redesigned my website at www.tarikcyrilamar.com.
All the very best (even and especially in these grim times), Tarik Cyril Amar
Since first encountering you last year in the YouTube channel of the late lamented Gonzalo Lira, I've come to appreciate many aspects of your work, not least the indispensable historical perspective you bring. I also find you invaluable in helping us understand what is happening in Germany, and in this respect your recent discussion with Kevork Almassian of Syriana Analysis was equally indispensable. I live in the Netherlands, which like so much of Europe, has become a kind of economic dependency of Germany, and to see what is happening in that country, to that country, under the misleadership of its absolutely wretched political class, boggles the mind. And where Germany goes, the rest of us will follow, more or less. That said, the long-overdue overthrow of the current European political and economic order will most likely also be born in Germany (and France?), so we desperately need to understand what is happening there and look for signs of change. I hope that you can help us in this regard, along with other shrewd and perceptive observers like Kevork.
Stay strong Tarik. You’re my favourite Moroccan - German raised as a Catholic ;)
