"Of course, the current West is not literally the equivalent of the Nazi Reich."

The West is to the world what Hitler is to Europe.

Translated from Aimé Césaire in Discourse on Colonialism (1950): "…that it is Nazism, yes, but that before they were its victims, they were its accomplices, that they tolerated that Nazism before it was inflicted on them, that they absolved it, shut their eyes to it, legitimized it, because until then, it had been applied only to non-European peoples. What they cannot forgive Hitler for, is not crime in itself, the crime against man. It is not the humiliation of man as such. It is the crime against the white man, the humiliation of the white man, and the fact that he applied to Europe colonialist procedures, which until then had been reserved exclusively for the Arabs of Algeria, the laborers of India and the Blacks of Africa. A civilization that colonizes is already a sick civilization."

It seems to be develop, the colonialist-supremacist western system, in a kind of surrealistic-miserable-banal theater: there are rules and laws and protocols, but them don´t apply equally to the "casts" -being them permanents as the blue-blood ones and the economical centralized spider web, or circunstancial as the political class-, the upper class move in a dimension of impunity, and the rules-laws-measures are specifically designed to protect them, or be applied to the commoners, the "we the people". Parliaments and Courts and International Forums, are part of the theater, creating illussion about the "balance" of power ... but, as we suffer now, every single day, they serve lackeyish the upper cast: the "holy cows" are from another social status, the law doesn´t reach them. If somebody there want to do something "right", the burocratic-machinery doesn´t react. From outside, is like a chicken house, much noise but no power and decision to take action.

Being not academic but knowing that reality is very complex, I can not avoid to paint a fast image: the west was build in blood and genocides, in horrific unjustices on many people, and even when it develop a very interesting culture, the spirit, the connection with the cosmos, was gone because the path chosen. Now we are in the extreme, when the "culture" created, values and morals, for the rulers, are extremely heavy to accept: they simply kill them in their universal scope, the upper cast doesn´t accept rules at all. They were always racists and supremacists, but in someway hidden, at least almost acceptable. Assange without violence has burned the escenography staged. As the Palestinian Resistance did. They exposed the holy cows, and the cruelty deployed on them now is because they lost the coverage, and then the only thing left, is the violence, the ace they always have to deploy to smash the oponents and conquer what they want.

But now, we have another tools, just some of the tools they create for control, now they are used against them as boomerangs, just as the palestinian resistance in Gaza are using israelis bombs against the occupation tik tok soldiers.

The west is violent, this is the core of the western power, and this is the message for us. And the power is behind the political actors we are able to see.

How to stop them? We must think out of the box: the box was intentionally created imposing boundaries to our imaginations. More acrobatics in courts? It is an important field, but for the palestinians doesn´t make now for every day, a great difference. For Assange, hostage as the Gaza population, what a court means?

Are we hostages too ?
